Feeling quite scared about the swine flu in Mexico. Not really because I think we’ll be so tyco to get the flu, but that it will cause complications for us. Like US immigration could become stricter on travellers, even as they are already one of the most hard-to-deal-with bunch of officials in the world. (Experienced some difficulties when entering US a few times.) Also scared that places of interest will be closed, scared that our local tour may have to be cancelled. Scared that we would have to be quarantined when we come back. Not very good news for Daniel since he has enlistment on 13 June. Not very good news for me and Zw since we have a Bali trip on 16 June. Ok I just might be scaring myself. And even though we don’t know if any flu vaccine works, the fact that Americans are far better in dealing with the virus shows something doesn’t it? – I don’t know, I’m assuming that US citizens have a higher probability of having had the jab than Mexicans. Very bad fallacy I know. But am still thinking of going to get ourselves vaccined before the trip. (more…)
